I’m one of those people who’s been known to use new workout clothes as a way of motivating myself to get off my butt and go for a run.
(Actually, I’m one of those people who’ll grab almost ANY excuse to buy new clothes, workout or not, but that’s another post for another time…)
I’m also one of those people who can easily end up wearing her workout clothes all day, if she’s not careful. Well, you know… I always have the best of intentions, so I’ll get into my workout clothes as soon as I wake up: because I work from home, though, it’s all too easy to get sucked into answering emails, or doing one of the dozens of other tasks that make up my workday, and before I know it, it’s lunchtime (Or, er, later…), and I still haven’t gotten round to that run I was so determined I was going to kick off my day with.
Which brings me to Ted Baker’s new range of workout gear. Well, when it comes to motivation, nothing works quite as well for me (Yes, I know it’s shallow, but hey, if it gets me off the couch, I’m not going to complain…), and if I’m going to be wearing those clothes all day long, I might as well make sure they look good, huh? Even if you’re not into workout out, this range is just so pretty I reckon it would make excellent loungewear (I can’t be the only one who wears workout clothes to clean the house and walk the dog… can I?) The range consists of everything you could need, from sneakers and leggings to tops and coverups, most of which comes in a pretty floral print. I particularly like the wrap cardigan, which would be perfect for warm-ups and cooldowns – or for slobbing out in front of the TV: whatever you prefer.
All of these pieces are available now at Ted Baker: which is your favourite?
