I’ve already featured quite a few Christmas party dresses, but there’s always room for a few more, so if you’re still in need of a last-minute party dress to take you through the holiday season, here are a few of my current favourites!
Virgos Lounge gold sequin midi dress, £195
My jaw fell open when I first saw this gold sequin midi dress by Virgos Lounge. This definitely won’t be to everyone’s taste, and will only be suitable for the glitziest of events (It would probably stand out a BIT much at the in-laws family get-together, I suspect…), but if you can pull it off, it’s one show-stopper of a party dress, that’s for sure!
Collectif ‘Phyllis’ dress, £65
For lovers of retro-inspired style, meanwhile, it doesn’t get much more festive than Collectif’s ‘Phyllis’ dress, which comes in a stretchy green velvet.
Boden ‘Beatrice’ dress, £101
Boden’s ‘Beatrice’ dress has been on my personal wish list for a while now, and is currently down to £101 from the original £160. This would be perfect for a family event, or even Christmas day – assuming you dress up for it, of course!
Another retro-inspired dress, this time by Lindybop, and in a festive red, with a black polka dot print. This dress is just £45, and is the kind of thing you won’t have to keep solely for Christmas, but which will work all year round.
Alice & You black sequin wiggle dress, £60
If the gold sequin dress at the top of the page was a bit OTT for your tastes, perhaps this one will be a little more wearable. Long sleeves, and a high neck make this the classic LBD, while the all-over sequins dress it up to the nines.

I like your posts about dresses for for particular events. But I can’t seem to find formal dresses for professional women at work.
