Heroes or Villains? Burberry Prorsum ‘Sullivan’ raffia wedge peep toes

Burberry Prorsum 'Sullivan' shoes

I really love the Matches website, especially the shoe section. Not only do they provide lots of different photos of the shoes they’re selling, they also provide lots of photos of the shoes actually being worn, which, as you all know, can make all the difference.

With that said, I probably wouldn’t have needed a huge amount of “evidence” to help me decide how I felt about Burberry Prorsum’s ‘Sullivan’ wedges, which have a raffia upper and printed heels. Nope, I knew exactly how I felt about these shoes the moment I laid eyes on them.

I’m not going to tell you, though. Instead, I’m just going to sit back and let you be the judge of these: are the Shoeperheroes, or are they Shoepervillains, do you think? Tell me what you think in the comments section!

  • I don’t know why but I think they are quite fabulous…
I probably totally failed in my shoeper-exam now ! ah well

  • I would normally hate a wedge this massive and I cannot imagine a coumfortable raffia shoe, but these are kind of great. So textured, so original!

  • Villain:
    1) The old lady camel beige piping across the instep along with the parallel lines of the raffia and the shape of the peeptoe would make anything but the narrowest foot look square.
2)There’s no excuse for a shoe this ugly to be this expensive — although probably cheap for Burberry.
