Dorothy Perkins green high pointed court shoes, £25
I almost didn’t bother showing you these shoes, because:
a) They’re pointed court shoes: it’s not like there aren’t a lot of those around right now, is it?
b) They’re green: I feature a LOT of green shoes
c) They’re not even real suede, which I know is a deal-breaker for some of you.
As you can see, though, I thought about these three points, and I decided to feature them anyway, because:
a) They’re pointed court shoes: you really can’t go wrong with pointed court shoes, and although they’re very fashionable right now, these ones aren’t SO pointed that they’ll look dated in a few months time.
b) They’re green: I LOVE green shoes. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
c) They may not be real suede, but they ARE just £25 to make up for it. You can’t say fairer than that, can you?
Oh, did I mention they’re also available in pink? They’re also available in pink. Now you know.
But what to wear with green pointed court shoes?
Having indulged my love for green shoes, I thought I may as well continue the way I started, and indulge my love for gingham crops, too:
Gingham trousers and green pointed court shoes:
♥ Boohoo gingham trousers ♥ Dorothy Perkins slash neck tee ♥ Monsoon pointelle cardigan ♥ Fantas-Eyes sunglasses
At this time of year, I like to keep my outfits as simple as possible (Actually, I ALWAYS like to keep my outfits as simple as possible, but even more so in summer, when the warmer weather makes me less inclined to pile on the accessories), and causal looks don’t get much simpler than the trousers + tee + cardigan formula. And now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to see if Boohoo have those trousers in my size…
They are a nice shade of green!
