Zara nude/gold flare heel peep toes

I know I can’t seem to stay away from Zara lately, but then, what else is new?

Well, these nude and gold peep toes are new, for one thing. They appeared on the site last week, and it didn’t take me long to realise that they’d be appearing on this site shortly afterwards. The flared heel may be a little passé now – Miu did it to great effect last winter, and just about every other shoe brand on the planet quickly followed suit – and I swing back and forth between loving it and hating it at the best of times, but right now the pendulum has swung firmly towards “love”. That’s partly because of the nude and gold upper, which is one of my favourite colour combinations, but I also think the flared heel looks particularly good on this shoe, too.
