ZARA polka dot slingback heels
I know this is my second ZARA pick of the week, so apologies for that, but actually, no, I take that back: the new autumn/winter footwear collection is so good that I don’t really think any apologies are necessary – in fact, I could probably have shown you a different pair of Zara shoes every day this week, and still not run out of inspiration!
These ones aren’t particularly wintry, obviously, but who cares when they look as cute as this? Polka dots, as I’m sure my regular readers are aware, are one of my favourite prints, and they’re such a great way to add a touch of fun and personality to an otherwise monochrome outfit. I don’t tend to wear a lot of prints, but I make an exception for spots and stripes, both of which I find really easy to wear.
I’m also making an exception for the heels on these shoes, which Zara describe as “high”, but which look very much “mid height” to me. I’m not generally a fan of mid-height heels, preferring them either super-high or totally flat, but, to be totally honest, they had me at “polka dot upper” – who cares about the heels?
[P.S. As you might have noticed, I’ve had to cut down my posting schedule over here lately, due to lack of time. I’m still blogging as normal over at Forever Amber, but if it’s shoes you’re interested in, make sure you’re following me on Facebook, as that’s where most of them are living right now. I’m doing my best to post some of my favourite new styles there every day of the week, and you’ll also get notifications of new blog posts there too, with the added benefit that you don’t have to read my waffle along with the pretty pictures: how could you resist?]
