Viktor & Rolf do a particularly nice line in curvy-heeled stilettos, and I’ve featured a few of them here over the past couple of years. I think these ones just might be my favourites so far, because not only do they have that perfect sideways silhouette, they also come in the perfect, deep-red colour, and are topped off with the cutest little bows I’ve seen since… well, since the LAST double-layered bows I showed you. Which was probably just a few days ago, knowing me and my love of this particular style.
These bows aren’t just nicely shaped, though: there’s also an interesting suede/leather contrast going on, and a gold lining and trim, which finishes them off nicely.
These have a heel height of 5″, combined with a partly-concealed platform (the part which shows, at the toe, is also suede, to tie in with the bow) of 0.6″ and the biggest downside I can see to them is the price: at £620, these are definitely an investment, but given that they’re a fairly classic kind of style (especially considering the avant-garde nature of so many of Viktor & Rolf’s other designs), you might just consider them worth it. MIGHT. As for me, I’m just going to admire them from afar: that shape is one I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of looking at!
