September is always a bit of a tricky month for fashion, in that it’s one of those transitional months, where you never know quite what you’re going to get, weather-wise. Of course, that’s something I, for one, should be more than used to by now, having lived in Scotland my entire life, but while the last two Septembers have been glorious, and actually warmer/drier than the rest of the summer, I’ve also known Septembers which have felt more like winter – and who knows which way this year will swing?
Another issue that makes September one of my least-favourite months, sartorially-speaking (I love it for other reasons, though: I’m just determined to enjoy ever last bit of daylight we get, before we’re plunged into the gloom of autumn and winter!) is the fact that so many brands have started to roll out their autumn/winter collections, while putting the dregs of the summer stock on sale. I’m not really ready to think about winter clothes yet, but I’m also well aware that if you don’t snap it up now, it might be gone by the time you’re actually ready to wear it, so this month’s Shopbop wish list is a bit of a seasonal mix of styles, starting off with…
A camel coat is a true winter staple for me: this one is crazy-expensive, and therefore totally out of my price range, but it’s also crazy-gorgeous: a girl can dream, right?
A little more summery, but still versatile enough to see you through autumn, this Kate Spade satchel is the perfect shade of blush pink to go with just about everything.
Kate Spade x Beyond Yoga workout gear
Speaking of Kate Spade, the designer recently created a collection with Beyond Yoga, and I basically want EVERYTHING. Seriously: polka-dot workout gear – where have you been all my life?
I forsee a lot of low-heeled ankle boots in my future: these ones by Joie come in two colours, and, yup, I want them both…
