In My Shoes | What I Wore This Week

Happy Friday, everyone! Before you head off to enjoy your weekend, here’s a quick look at what I wore this week…

Friday: Buffalo polka dot peep toes c/o Spartoo

This time last week it was still sunny enough for me to wear these polka dot peep toes by Buffalo. This was a very exciting day, because ShoeperMan and I were headed to the hospital, to visit our friends’ new-born baby girl for the first time: such a cutie!

Saturday: Dune ‘Alvino’ gold pointed pumps

On Saturday I wore these gold pointed pumps by Dune for dinner with my parents. I’ve had a lot of use out of these shoes lately, but this was the first time I’d worn them with these green trousers, which were from Banana Republic last summer.

Sunday: Red Zara flats

On Sunday we headed to Ikea, where we ended up inadvertently buying a new sofa: whoops! I know from experience that there’s no such thing as a “quick trip” to Ikea, and that there’s always a lot of walking involved, so I decided to keep things comfortable and casual, with these red Zara flats, and a Breton top from H&M.

Monday: Topshop ‘Glam’ pumps in yellow

On Monday we visited my in-laws, and I played true to form, matching my yellow Topshop ‘Glam’ pumps with this H&M skirt from a few seasons ago. These are both favourite items of mine: I wear the shoes on a pretty regular basis anyway, but I’ve been particularly into mustard yellow lately, so they’ve been in heavier rotation than usual.

Thursday: Boden patent slingbacks

By Thursday, my friend was back home, so we paid another quick visit for some new baby cuddles! It was still warm enough for bare legs – just – and I wore my patent Boden slingbacks, with a stripe pencil skirt.
