ShoeperWoman’s Top Posts of 2016

Every year I like to take a quick look back at some of the posts that have been particularly popular in the past 12 months. As I update the site on an almost daily basis, I know some of these may be new to you too, so whether you’re a brand-new reader or a longtime supporter, here are some posts to keep you occupied between now and New Year’s Eve:

01. HOW TO STOP YOUR SHOES SLIPPING OFF

It seems a lot of you have this problem, as it’s almost always the most-viewed post on the site. Don’t worry, though: help is at hand, so read the post, and if you have any suggestions, please feel free to add them to the comments!

02. HOW TO CREATE AN AUDERY HRPBURN-INSPIRED CAPSULE WARDROBE

Learn how to dress like Audrey with this sample capsule wardrobe.

03. WHAT TO WEAR TO A CHRISTENING

Dressing for a christening is one of the biggest sartorial dilemmas around: this post contains some suggestions on what to wear – and, perhaps more importantly – what NOT to wear!

04. WINTER COATS FOR WOMEN

This post is an older one, so I’m not sure how useful it’ll be: it does, however, contain some awesome ‘coat candy’, so it could be worth checking out, for that reason alone!

05. HOW TO WALK COMFORTABLY IN CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN’S PIGALLE 120s

I’m a little bit surprised to see this post still doing so well, but apparently Christian Louboutin’s Pigalle 120s are still as popular – and hard to walk in – as ever! Hopefully, however, this post will give you some helpful hints: and I promise, as someone who still wears her Pigalles at least once a week (as long as it’s not snowing, obviously!), it’s definitely worth putting in some practise!

I hope these posts will be useful, and give you something to read as you’re counting down to New Year’ Eve: if you need some more, though, don’t forget to check back tomorrow!
