WHAT: Christian Louboutin Jefferson slingbacks
WHEN: June 2011
WHERE: Los Angeles, California
WITH: Bettie Page ‘Brigit’ dress; Gucci sunglasses
I’m not quite sure why I look so sad in this set of photos – I was actually really happy! Probably just worrying about falling into the swimming pool or something…
They’re probably not the safest footwear to be balancing on walls in, granted…
This is another Bettie Page dress. I would’ve bought up the whole store if I could’ve afforded it, but the polka dots proved particularly impossible to resist.
You look really really TALL in those photographs. Beautiful.
Lol, I’ve been called many things, but I think that’s the first time anyone’s ever described me as “tall” – thanks!
I love your dress! Just give me some polka dots and I’m happy š Ad your hair is so cute! It always reminds me of a bird’s nest š But it looks great on you.
Honestly…this looks like scenes from a hollywood era film…beautiful.
I honestly felt like I was on a movie set the whole time I was in that house – it was one of those places you just couldn’t take a bad photo of. (I miss it so much – sob!)
your hair always looks perfect. do you want to new york so you can style mine for me pleeeease?
That’s a particularly lovely compliment to me because I seriously can’t do a THING with hair! This style is my standard, haven’t-washed-it-so-I’ll-just-throw-it-up-and-hope-no-one-notices style: it’s a holiday staple!
lovely pics of you in a fab setting….hope your holiday was as amazing as the pics look!
jealous of that dress! and shoes of course :DDDD
š Yay for Pinup girl clothing!
Oh, this one was actually from Bettie Page! But yes, Pinup Girl is fantastic too – if they’d had a store near me, I’d have been bankrupted! (I almost was, actually. Two Bettie Page stores plus Unique Vintage, all within driving distance – it was bliss!)
I only saw the thumbnail of the photos earlier, and honestly thought you had acquired a 50s vintage Barbie doll. Such a cute & perfect look!
I think that might be the best thing anyone’s ever said to me š
(And I secretly wish I DID have a 50s vintage Barbie doll. Or her swimsuit, at least.)
You look very statuesque! You always look so confident in photos, it’s nice to see.
I need to check out this Bettie Page store while I’m in California, their stuff looks SOO amazing! Adore this polka dot dress š
And yes I agree with Louise, you kinda look “tall” š
Well, it’s all been said, your hair, dress and shoes are awesome and you look tall, confident and gorgeous. Which I do of course agree with!
But to add to that, I’ve always admired those sunglasses. And in these shots the way the light is bouncing off them is so cool! I think you and Jackie O would be good friends š
You look stunning! I think Bettie page had you in mind when she designed those dresses.
Thank you so much for your comment! Especially because it lead me to your fantastic blog!! I love shoes and from what I can see you have the same passion š This dress looks amazing on you- I admire a girl who can pull off this length and still look long and lean.
How do you do your hair like that? I absolutely love it!
The Birgit dress looks stunning on you! I wanted that dress too but it was too expensive for me… Lucky you! š
This dress and actually the whole look is amazing! You look fantastic, and everything everyone else said before me!
I was on vacation, and just returned home, so I have much reading to do if I want to be updated. I’m sure I’ll have many of your posts to read and comment…
