Spot the difference!
There are some differences between these two shoes, of course. The main one, however, is that the colours used on shoe on the right (by Moda in Pelle), are basically watered-down versions of the ones on the shoe on the left (by B Brian Atwood). Other than that, the main differences are in the execution: seen side-by-side, you can tell that the Moda in Pelle shoe is a cheaper version of the designer shoe, and, indeed it is: it costs just £119.95, compared to the $350 you’d have paid for the B Brian Atwood shoe a few months ago.
The Brian Atwood version is now sold out, but the Moda in Pelle shoes can be purchased here, and are also available in nude and black. What do you think: too close for comfort, or a fair interpretation of the Atwood shoe?
Blatant copy. I would be furious if I was a shoe designer.
Prefer the Brain Atwood 100 times over. I totally agree with Tracey I would be fuming if I was in Brain Atwood with Moda in Pelle version.
