It’s taken me a very long time to come around to the idea of peep toe boots. Years, in fact. I think I’ve finally got there, though – and while boots with an open toe will probably never be my first choice when it comes to footwear, these ones have definitely helped sway me. I love ALMOST everything about these: the buttons are absolutely adorable, for instance, and look to me like they belong on a much more expensive pair of shoes; the shape is divine, with that curved upper and thin heel; the colour is about as eye-catching as it gets. They also look amazing on the model, although, well, most things look amazing on models, obviously, so I guess I should probably take that with a pinch of salt.

The main issue with these – for me at least – though, is the fact that the model looks fantastic in them, not just because she has legs like Bambi, but because she’s wearing them with bare (tanned) legs. I’d freeze to death if I tried to do that at this time of year, but I’m not terribly keen on the “tights with peep toes” look (Yes, I know that’s very old fashioned of me, and I’m definitely not suggesting it’s a fashion “rule”: lots of people make that look work, it’s just that I’m not one of them!), which means I’d be likely to have major issues styling these, and, as much as I love the look of them, wouldn’t wear them nearly as often as they deserve.

Even so, I do kind of love them – and if you’re not keen on the hot pink version, they also come in basic black, which would at least make it easier to wear them with tights. What do you think: would you wear these, and, if so, how would you style them?
