For the last few weeks, I’ve been on the lookout for a pair of simple, pink ballet flats. As it turns out, however, I’m absolutely spoiled for choice, because there’s definitely no shortage of this style around at the moment, and the good news is that they’re all super-affordable, too. Here are some of my favourites:
Matalan, £10
Dorothy Perkins, £16
Miss Selfridge, £16
Zara, £19.99
Zara, £29.99
The question remains, though: which ones would you go for?
Pretty! I like the H&M ones and the goldish Zara ones the best:)) so glad you’re back to shoe blogging, missed you!
Thanks! And yes, I wanted to get some semblance of normality back – it’s all about the shoes, after all! Shoe Challenge roundup will be along later today too 🙂
I think I like the gold Zara ones best, too, they’re just so pretty!
Oh my goodness, I love them all!
Hi! I’m glad your’re back, and you’ll see everything will be OK! When we do things in a good way, with our passion and effort – we succeed, you’ll see! And you have your loyal readers with you!
Now, to the flats! You know I don’t wear flats, but would love to… but I like flats (to look at them and envy who can wear them!!!) These ones are so beautiful, nude color, and a bow, and the prices are also good!!! Which one have you bought?
Oh, none, unfortunately – I can only afford to window shop! (Which is fun in its own way, I guess 🙂 )
I have a pair of topshop ones, that are only £15!!!! i love them and wear them everywhere!
I vote the H&M ones as they are the most classically ballet looking.
I must say I think I like the matalan ones the most ( I dont usually like much from there). The bow I think, it’s just cute!
Ooo I’m sure I saw some in Peacocks yesterday in Livingston that had ribbons attached too.
I actually loooove the metallic ones from Zara.
I have got those ones of H&M, they’re great great great!
I actually saw them in the store in another colour (can’t remember which one) a few weeks ago and they were really nice – if they’d had them in pink I’d have bought them 🙂
I like the H&M ones and the Zara ones. They look so cute! Oh now I want a pair of pink ballet flats too! 😛
Metallic Zara ones for me please!
I have just bought two pairs of ballet flats from Sainsburys! for £20 a pair and they are real leather with a big leather bow on the front….amazing value especially for leather X
Amber if you want leather pink ballet shoes they do them in Jones, more expensive but rather nice X
I had a £7.99 pair from New Look that I wore with just about everything, and when I went to replace them I found that they’d stopped doing the nude colour. Grr! So thanks for this post, it’s actually incredibly useful to me! The Dorothy Perkins ones look most similar to my old ones, and the Zara ones look the best quality, but I might have to carry on being a cheapskate and get the H&M ones!
I think I know the ones you mean – I’ve had my eye on those too, but can never find them in the pink, although I think the red is calling to me too!
H&M and Zara. And the H&M ones are such a bargain too!
The bow on the matalans is so pretty! I think those would be my favorites.
The Dorothy Perkins get my vote. Between the ballet pink color and the little cotton string bow, they remind me most of my childhood ballet shoes. Just missing that elastic strap across the arch…
I hope when the H&M opens in Dalls this fall they still have these in pink. I love them.
I think the Matalan are my favorite. I’m a sucker for that slightly frayed look of the bow. The Zaras are my next favorite. It’s funny because although I have told myself I must go until the end of April without buying a single pair of shoes, the first shoes on my list come may are simple pale pink ballet flats.
I like the top Zara ones, the H&M ones are pretty too ^^
I love the pink ones from H&M, but I think I would just wear them around the house.
The first Zara pair, for 19.99. Lovely!
I actually tried on the Dorothy Perkins ones, and they are just like actual ballet shoes, with very little structure to them. I wasn’t sure how well they’d last as a result. Must go and have another look around, and add “nude pumps” to my current shopping list of “nude, non-wedge, high heeled, sturdy by not clumpy sandals” 🙂
Zara, Matalan, or h&m
I like the H&M first. Now I need them 🙂
