Designers have been doing all kinds of interesting things with heels recently, and these Nicole Brundage peep toes fit right into that trend. They also remind me of a teapot for some reason, but maybe that’s just me.
That curved heel is obviously the stand-out detail of these shoes, but naturally, I think the bow strap deserves some attention, too:
From the front, they’re sweet, and fairly demure, so it’s only when you see the side/back view that you get the full, whimsical impact of these shoes. They’re one of three different Nicole Brundage styles currently on sale at Luisa Viaroma, and all featuring that distinctive heel – take a look at the others under the jump…
I think these are probably my favourites : very classic-with-a-twist.
I find that heel a bit weird. The shoes themselves are lovely though.
I like how they look in the pictures but I would definitely want to see how they look while being worn.
Why do I think that it looks like a pair of demure heels piggybacking some slightly more porn-y peep toes?
I dunno. I’d like to try them on. Maybe the wonky heel at the back makes for a nice silhouette?
I agree with Arielle, I like the look of them now but I’d like to see how they’d look on feet. I love the second pair.
Do the heels remind anybody of Victorian era chair legs? But the shoes are just lovely.
