Cherries! They’re one of my favourite shoe embellishments, and always add a fun, summery feel to a shoe with a bit of “pin-up girl” appeal, into the bargain.
The ones on these Michel Perry summer sandals are a little unusual, in the sense that the mustard yellow and red colour mix says “Autumn” to me, more than it does Spring/Summer: the striped heel is also an unexpected touch, and is something I wouldn’t have thought would’ve worked, but surprisingly, when you put it all together, it just does.
The cherries, of course, are the stand-out detail on these shoes, and their stems form a wide t-bar strap, while the cherries themselves are cut out of the vamp, giving them a bit of extra emphasis. They’re also patent, to contrast with the matt leather of the rest of the shoe: another nice touch.
As pretty as these are, however, they’re also a little on the expensive side: they’re £332.80 at Spartoo, and you can click here to buy them.
love the patchwork whimsical autumn look
They’re a bit pricey but so very cute!
