Most of you aren’t going to like these. It’s OK. I understand. Sometimes the duty of a Shoeperhero is not just to show you the pretty shoes, though, but to also showcase some of the more unusual ones, and while totally see-through shoes aren’t exactly a new thing, they are “different” enough for me to have stopped in my tracks and decided to take a closer look at these.

These aren’t exactly shoe-lovers-shoes, because the effect is more of the absence of shoes than the presence of them: I guess you’d look a bit like you were walking around barefoot, on your toes. If I was spending £675 on a pair of boots, I’d probably want to be able to actually see them on my feet, but, of course, I have to acknowledge that I’m not exactly part of the Maison Martin Margiela target audience, so that’s just me!
