Apparently I just couldn’t stay away from new site ShoeScribe.com, which I told you about earlier this week: I went back there today, because I wanted to know what you all think of these Giambattista Valli sandals.
Now, this is yet another variation on the bow-front shoe, true. It’s quite an unusual bow, though:
Kinda reminds me of one of those rings that are designed to be worn on two fingers at the same time. I can’t decide if that’s a good thing or a bad thing, though, so I’m going to let you tell me. What do you think of these? And would you pay £580 for them? Click here if you answered “yes”…
Ohh those are sooo pretty! Love the bow detail! I think my mom has a really similar belt, in the same style as the bow. However, I wouldn’t pay £580 for them.
I don’t like them. Well, actually I do like the shoe, I just don’t like the bow. I think it’s because the bow reminds me of those elastic ‘bracelets’ you put on to hold your sleeves up.
I kinda like them, if only for the novelty. Wouldn’t wear them though. The bow reminds of those watches old women wear, with the expandable wristband.
I am slightly weirded out by the bow but not in a bad way, I think? The bow does make me think that they would look great on a fashionable android robot from one of the Azimov novels.
The more I look at these the more I think I love them. I can’t explain it yet but something in me tells me I want them! I couldn’t help but compare them to the Gianvito Rossi “Tuxedo” shoes you posted a couple of days ago. I didn’t like those very much, & I personally think these are a much nicer variation of the black&white/bow/ankle strap idea.
No. And I don’t like that bow. It just seems wrong.
