Dalmatian print platforms from Dorothy Perkins, £75
Anyone else starting to sense that dalmatian print is going to be big over the next few months?
I showed you two shoes with this print a couple of weeks ago, and wasn’t keen on either of them. Oddly enough, I like these Dorothy Perkins platforms much better, possibly because the print is that bit closer to my beloved polka dot, but the rest of the shoe is comfortingly classic. Sometimes I think you have to go for EITHER a bold print OR an unusual design: it’s a rare shoe (or person) who can carry off both, although obviously it’s not unheard of, either.
At £75, these are a little more expensive than most of Dorothy Perkins’ shoe offerings, but they’re a little more fashion-forward, too, which might explain it. I probably wouldn’t rush out and buy these, but if they were to magically appear on my shoe shelves, I can see myself wearing them – the white and black pattern would be relatively easy to match with other colours, and they’d make an interesting focal point to a plain outfit.

Much better than the others you showed us. They just look like polka dots!
Oh, Cruella will be DELIGHTED! 😀
Seriously very nice. Pretty and playful at the same time.
Now, if they could finally give me some cow-patterned shoes that aren’t clogs…
