With a heel similar to the Big Lips and Open Lips styles, here’s Christian Louboutin’s Big Dorect peep toes, which differ from the aforementioned shoes in terms of their d’orsay cut and crossover straps. They’re still perilously high and super-sexy, but I think the wide, elastic straps help tone the look down just a little bit, while not detracting too much attention from that heel.
The only thing I’m not so keen on about these is the tiny little peep toe…
… which is SO tiny it doesn’t really seem worth the trouble. More of a “peep-nail” than a “peep-toe”, really. Still, it doesn’t make much of a difference to the look of the shoe, so who am I to quibble?
These are £635 at Net-a-Porter, and you can click here to buy them.
Good to look at… and dream… they are so beautiful! I would have liked them better if they were totally closed (the peep nail could have been avoided…), but they are beautiful either way…!
I don’t see the point of that tiny peep toe either. But you know me, I love a Louboutin no matter what!
