I sense a theme creeping into today’s posts. First I discovered those Office wedges, which I thought looked like they belonged on a cartoon character, and now I find these Charlotte Olympia pumps, which don’t even look like REAL SHOES to me. Not even a little bit. In fact, when I first laid eyes on them, I assumed I was looking at one of these shoe ornaments you sometimes see.
It’s not just the green felt upper (Great colour, strange fabric choice for a £400 shoes), or the little pair of red lips sitting atop the vamp: it also has something to do with the strangely elongated shape, which… well, it just looks odd to me. Maybe it’s just the angle of the photo, and these would look perfectly normal in real life? What do YOU think?

Do you know what they remind me of – you know when you go to a museum, castle or maybe a stately home, and they have a collection of original dresses, gloves and shoes that belonged to the Lady of the house? That’s what they look like!
Yes, you’re right, they really do!
ugly shoe! XP
What ‘lady’ would wear those though lol!
At first I was impressed with the colour but then you mentioned the price, and I paid more attention to the lips, and now I just think they’re a bit odd.
