ASOS Heatwave Barely There Heeled Sandals With Bow
Red parent leather (or non-leather, in this particular case) can be pretty hard to get right, and it’s one of those colour/fabric combinations that can either be totally show-stopping, or… well, a little bit cheap, really.
Which wide of the fence do these ASOS sandals fall on, I wonder? Well, in fairness, at just £28, they ARE actually pretty cheap, so it wouldn’t be surprising if they looked it. (These are also available with a nude patent upper, which has a more “expensive” look, if you want to compare the two!) I, however, always find bows on heels pretty irresistible, though, and I think that, with some careful styling, they could be real show-stoppers: that bright red upper really stands out, and while the style of the shoe is very simple, even with the bows on the heel, there’s nothing quite like a splash of red to really change the appearance of a shoe, is there?
As I said, these are £28, and also available with a very pretty, and slightly more versatile, nude upper. All sizes are still available at the time of writing (Although I take no responsibility if some of them have sold out by the time you read this: ASOS stock tends to move pretty quickly, in my not-inconsiderable experience!) (Saying this purely because the cigarette pants I’d been hoping would be released in the ‘petite’ leg managed to arrive on the site AND sell out before I’d even noticed they were there: don’t you just hate it when that happens?), and, as with most ASOS own-brand shoes, sizing goes all the way down to a UK size 2 – good news for the small-footed amongst you!
What do you think of these? And how would you style them, if they were yours?
