The gold sheen on the wedge heel of these shoes gives them an almost-unreal quality, a bit like an ornament of some kind. Or a trophy perhaps: the kind you’d win in the Shoe Oscars, if such a thing existed.
(Aside: Such a thing totally SHOULD exist, shouldn’t it? “And the award for Best Shoe in a Leading Role goes to…”)
These are definitely the kind of trophy you’d want to wear, though. As I never seem to tire of saying, gold is the perfect colour for evening shoes, because it really does go with just about everything, and just in case you were in any doubt that these shoes want to party, the sparky bow proves it:
Moreover, the wedge heel, whilst high, should make these easy to dance in. That’s important.
These are called ‘Gabrielle’ and they’re £100 at Kurt Geiger: click here to buy them.
Oh deary me, shoe porn at midday…amazingly sexy shoes, want them sooooo badly.
They’re sooo dreamy!
One more to file away and admire from afar…..as far away as possible from my clumsy, drink dropping hands and puddle splashing feet!
Those are beautiful. I agree about the “great-ness” of a gold shoe. I think gold is the perfect neutral, even with casual outfits. Although that awesome bow might make these a tad dressy for jeans. ;0)
love these, if I had seen them last year I would have thought about them to go with my 50’s style wedding dress, It was a hard task to find wedding shoes especially to go with an un-traditional dress….I did find some in the end though
Wow. I’ve never been a fan of gold, but I love these shoes. Those are great!
These are fab and totally make up for those hideous MiuMius. Gorgeous.
ahaha! I was looking for a pair of gold wedges to go with a new dress, I google it and this comes up. with my name on them! it’s fate!
