Net-a-Porter describe these shoes as having an “old-world glamour”, and I think they got it spot-on there. I’m picturing them worn with a tailored tweed, 40s-style suit, and a jaunty little hat, possibly one a woman who’s standing at a railway station, clutching her handkerchief and trying to look brave. No, I have absolutely no idea where that came from.
They’re by Tabitha Simmons, and come in two diffeent colourways: the classic black and white, and the slightly more unexpected tan and green. Very cute, but also very pricey, they’re £695 at Net-a-Porter.
I love the fact that they’re just so different!

I’d wear the black and cream pair with a black pencil skirt and almost any sort of top. Fun way to dress up a business outfit a little!
