Stripe shoes: Next, £35
Yes, it’s another pair of stripe shoes. Well, you can’t say I didn’t warn you…
Every season, Next seems to produce at least one pair of shoes that attracts my attention, and this year the shoes in question are these stripe slingbacks, which combine a black and white fabric upper with a hot pink stiletto heel and platform. These wouldn’t really NEED the pink patent heels in order to make me love them, of course – the bold stripe upper is more than capable of doing that all on its own – but it definitely helps, doesn’t it?
The other great thing about Next’s shoes, and one of the reasons I subscribe to their Directory, is because they’re good quality, but always very affordable. These are just £35, which is a pretty decent price, especially considering that, although “trendy” right now, as I’ve noted in some of my other recent posts about stripe shoes, they’re the kind of thing that never really go out of fashion, so if it’s a look you love (and I don’t think I need to tell you that it definitely is for ME…), you should certainly be able to get your money’s worth out of these!
I like them, quite a lot actually, but I think I’d prefer a darker pink shade. I know, picky picky.
