Many of the shoes I showed you as part of my Dune Spring/Summer preview have now started to arrive on the website, much to my delight. For this post, I’m going to bravely ignore the stripe court shoes which are my favourites in the current collection, and turn instead to one of my other favourite footwear things: bow shoes.

These shoes are called ‘Cadet’, they’re also available in nude, and they have that very “ladylike” look about them which would make them perfect for a day at the office – or anywhere else you want to look a little bit more polished than usual for. “Polished” is actually a good work for these shoes: they have a real Audrey Hepburn vibe about them, courtesy of the black patent upper, contrasting bow, and that classic, pointed toe slingback shape. I’ve just bought myself a classic little black pencil dress, which is the item I’d probably be most keen to wear these with, but they’d also look good with a pair of black skinnies for a slightly more up-to-date look.
