July Wish LIst

I’m a little late with my July Wish List, and to be completely honest, I was considering not even posting one, because so much of what I want to buy at the moment is similar to LAST month’s list! I’m still very much focused on sprucing up my “basics”, and finding ways to dress more casually, while still feeling stylish, and although those kind of items are very necessary, they aren’t particularly interesting to read about! I also have a flying trip to London/Kent planned for the end of the month, which has sucked up a lot of my budget. I probably won’t be able to actually BUY most of these items because of that, but here’s what’s on my wish list anyway…

50s Style Capri Pants from 20th Century Foxy

20th Century Foxy is a brand which has been on my radar for a while now, but this month they’ve really been making me drool over their selection of retro-inspired clothing. I love pretty much ALL of their dresses (more on those later!), but given my mission to improve my “casual” clothing, these colourful capri pants would be a lot more practical. OK, they’re not exactly “causal” in the way sweatpants or leggings are “casual”, but in my world, all forms of trousers count as casual-wear, hence their inclusion on my list!

River Island polka dot flats

I wrote about these a while back, but put off buying a pair, due to limited funds, and an inability to decide which colour to go for. My weekend away, however, is likely to involve a fair bit of walking, making a pair of these seem like a good idea. I still need to decide which colour I want, though!

‘Full Time Fashion Blogger’ sweatshirt

I’d probably only wear this as lounge/excercise wear, but as I AM a full-time fashion blogger, I’m kinda tempted by it!

Topshop taffeta pinic midi skirt

I’ve loved this skirt ever since it appeared on the Topshop website, and have to talk myself out of buying it at least once a day. Sadly, at £95, I think it’s a tad overpriced, and unless I happen to find £95 stuffed down the back of the sofa, I can’t afford it anyway, but I can still dream, right?

FeverFish black polka dot dress

This is another item you’ve seen here before, and this one is much more reasonably priced, thankfully! I’m just hoping it’ll still be in stock if and when I can justify dress-shopping again!

As for last month’s list

… I didn’t actually end up getting any of it! I had ordered the white ASOS dress, as I mentioned, but although I liked it a lot, it was a little too big, so it had to go back. I had actually intended to exchange it for another size, but then I spotted the ASOS ‘Debutant’ prom dress, and ended up buying that in two different colours (One of which I’m wearing over on Forever Amber today) instead.  I did consider ordering the yellow Zara coat in the sale, but I’m still not sure I’d be able to pull off the colour, and it wasn’t reduced by enough for me to take the risk. If it goes on clearance, however, I might go for it!
