February is my least favourite month of the year, and although it is at least the shortest month, this year it’s felt particularly long and cold, and I just can’t wait for it to be over. The harsher-than-usual winter we’ve been having here is continuing to restrict my wardrobe choices, too: we’re still getting regular flurries of snow, and although they’re not sticking around for too long, when it’s not snowing it’s raining or sleeting, or just generally being cold and miserable, and when the weather’s like that, there’s not much for it but BOOTS.
These ones are by Vince Camuto. I picked them up in TK Maxx a few years ago: I can’t remember how much they cost, but I know it wasn’t very much, so although the toes are a little pointier than I’d like, I allowed myself to be seduced by the colour anyway!
Of course, after all of my complaining about the dark days of February, today dawned gloriously sunny, so I grabbed the opportunity to actually, you know, leave the house for once. Roll on Spring…
I absolutely HATE the snow… we’ve already broke out record for snowiest winter.

I like the colour, but the too pointiness is not really working for me. Outfit looks great though!

I always think I don’t like leggings (mostly because some people here just have NO idea how to wear them) but then I see a picture like yours and think, okay yes they work. It’s probably the boots doing that.

Although I’m not usually one for pointed toes, those boots are great. The color, in particular, is very pretty. I have a pair of flats that color, and they go with everything.
I loved the outfit, as usual, and the boots too (you always look like a model! Great!); I only wear round toes, though, but anyway, I liked the boots… the whole outfit seemed to me to be “elegant cool”! Very nice!

I like how, in the last pic, Rubin looks like he’s wearing boots too. In a particularly fetching shade of Mud, which is SO hot right now!
