OK, the Christmas season is well and truly over (and to be completely honest, I’m actually glad to be able to start getting back into a normal routine again: there’s only so much over-indulgence I can take before I start craving normality!), and it’s time for me to concentrate on finishing up my Shoe Challenge. I have until January 26th to wear the remaining pairs of shoes, or risk losing them to either the charity store or the rubbish tip, but luckily for me, I have a few challenge posts already lined up, having managed to wear and photograph a few pairs of shoes over the holiday season.
These shoes were a gift from Deichmann, and have a triple platform with a simple black pump attached. I wore them back in December to visit family, amongst other things, and don’t worry, I didn’t actually have to walk in that snow in these – it was strictly a “car-to-door” kind of day, and I just popped outside for a few seconds to snap a couple of photos in the natural daylight!
I got these shoes in my usual size 4, but they come up a little big, so I’m going to have to invest in some heel grips to wear with them. That aside, they’re much more comfortable than that heel suggests, and the kind of style that works with just about anything.
I’m really glad that snow’s gone now!
Fantastic dress!!! I bought similar shoes from Deichmann last year… but guess what, still didn’t wear them… waiting for the right opportunity (maybe in February? They are in Germany now!) So, I may be biased, but… I love these shoes! Very nice outfit and beautiful pics as usual! So, no snow anymore? Great! In 15 days I will be in the lovely UK again, and I will spend my birthday there before leaving! Thanks for the information!
