River Island mint green bow barely-there sandals, £50

River Island have long been one of my favourite high-street stores for shoes. Many of my own favourite styles have come from there at some point, although it’s been a while now since I bought shoes from there myself.

If I  happened to have a spare £50 to spend on shoes right now, however (I don’t, more’s the pity…), there’s a good chance I’d break my River Island shoe-drought with a pair of these pretty mint green sandals. These are not only in one of my favourite colours, they also combine it with gold hardware (always a good combination) and a cute little bow on the top. They’re pretty much perfect – if you like mint green, bows, high heels, and barely-there sandals, that is. Luckily for me, I can’t get enough of any of those things, so put all of them together, and you have a shoeper shoe, which would see you through many a summer day or special event.

While we’re on the subject of mint green (and I’m almost always on the subject of mint green…):

green bardot dress

This dress is £55, and is also available in orange. I, naturally, love the green, and would be very tempted to wear this with the shoes shown above it – they’re actually a different shade of mint, but I think the two would compliment each other nicely.

For a more classic look, I love this dress:

black ribbed bardot dress

This kind of style is one of my favourites: it’s so simple, but the bardot neckline adds a touch of glamour. This would also work well with the mint green sandals, but the streamlined silhouette has so much impact on its own that it’ll also look amazing with a simple pair of black pumps: classic style at its absolute best.
