With my upcoming holiday now less than two weeks away, I’m finding myself drawn to flat sandals and flip-flops more than my usual high heels these days. These pewter thong sandals from Dorothy Perkins check all of the boxes as a holiday shoe for me:
- They’re flat. I’m more than used to walking in heels, but on vacation I tend to do a lot more walking than I do in my normal life, so flats are always good. And heels and shorts aren’t always the best look, anyway.
- They’re still dressy enough to be worn in the evenings with skirts and dresses with the little “jewels” on the front dressing them up nicely.
- They’re metallic, so they’ll go with everything in my suitcase.
Oh, and they’re only £20. And hey, I’ll be near a Dorthy Perkins tomorrow, how about that? If you won’t be, but you still want to pick up a pair of these, you can buy them on the website, here.
Love.
I can’t justify buying things like this though, given that I am still wearing a 2 year old pair of russell and bromley & Beverly Feldman jewelled flip flops. I have to get at least £135 worth of wear out of them.
Haha, same: I’m still wearing a three-year old pair of gold flip flops, oddly enough, also from Dotty Ps. They only cost me £12, but they’re still going strong!
I think you should get them; they’re adorable. And totally versatile, as you so rightly pointed out.
I absolutely love bejeweled sandals so 100% thumbs-up from over here;)
