I don’t know: I don’t show you any colourblocked shoes for weeks – weeks, readers – and then two pairs come along at once. Or almost at once, anyway. Is this the start of the colourblock revival? Can you even “revive” a trend that isn’t quite dead yet? Well, I’m not sure, but I do know I’ve been seeing a few more examples of this look than usual this week, one of them being these “Stela” heels from Miss Selfridge.
These aren’t so much “colourblocked” as they are “navy shoes with a pink heel”. However you want to describe, them, though, it’s still an interesting use of the two colours, and I like the way the “safe” old navy is combined with the more daring shocking pink on the heel. As for the rest of the shoe, we have a fairly standard platform pump, with a pointed toe and removable ankle strap: and all for just £45.

Get rid of the ankle strap and I would love these!
