 I think I’ve mentioned this before, but while sometimes it can take me hours to find a pair of shoes I think are worth showing you all, other days I’ll find one and know instantly that it’s going to be appearing on these pages.

This was definitely the case with  these Miss Selfridge bow heels. It’s not often that a pair of black court shoes create that instant “wow” effect on me, but the little embellished bow on the heel makes all the difference here, and turns this from a nice enough shoe into a shoeper shoe. Miss Selfridge have been really good at doing this recently: they seem to be almost as fond of bows as I am, and they definitely know the impact a well-placed embellishment can have. Best of all, they’ll sell you them for just £50: you can’t say fairer than that, can you?
