Well, Shoeperstars, it looks like I’ve found the next pair of shoes I’m going to be lusting after until pay day. It also looks like I’ve finally accepted mid-height heels as something I’m willing to at least consider wearing: I’ve mentioned a few times recently that there are much more of this style around right now than ever before, and they don’t seem to be going anywhere fast.

It goes without saying (Although apparently I’m going to go ahead and say it anyway…) that I’d like these shoes even more if they had a high heel, rather than a mid-height one (The heel on these is 3.5″, but somehow looks lower to me), but the perfect shape of the bow, plus the hard-to-find baby blue colour, makes me willing to overlook it. This has happened a couple of times with me and shoes, lately: one the one hand, I curse those shoe designers for not making their heels high enough to make them absolutely PERFECT in my eyes, but on the other, I guess if all the mid-heel shoes I love had high heels instead, I’d be bankrupt by now.

This particular shade of blue is a favourite of mine, and it’s a shade I always start craving in the springtime: there’s just something very fresh and “Eastery” about it (the bow just adds to that effect), and there’s not nearly enough of it around, if you ask me. These shoes are also available in black and nude, and are really lovely in those colours too, so if this is your preferred heel height, you might want to stock up while you can: I’m sure you don’t need me to tell you how difficult it can be to find pretty shoes with a lower heel!

  • I would definitely get the blue ones. Can’t believe they are a 3.2″ heel – they look much shorter than that!

  • Mmmm, these are gorgeous. I can’t do high heels so this is perfect height for me. If I hadn’t already bought some I’d seriously consider these for wedding shoes!
