As I’ve never been the superstitious kind, I didn’t bother with the old/new/borrowed/blue thing when I got married. If you are a traditional kinda girl, however, wouldn’t these shoes make the perfect “Something blue”? The colour is absolutely glorious, the bow is oversized and slightly off-set and the heel, while not quite high enough for yours truly’s tastes, looks pretty manageabel – from here, at least.
The only dissadvantage would be having to hide them under a long gown, but hey, that’s why we have knee length and midi ones instead!
Of course, even if you’re not a bride, these are still a lovely shoe, and that colour will make them the centre of attention no matter what you wear with them. Which is a good thing, given that they’re $775, no?
These are by Manolo Blahnik: click here to buy them.
I love these! What a beautiful colour, and the bow is just perfect!
I think Carrie Bradshaw would love this post!
Great shoes! I love their color. They remind of the ones Carrie wore on her wedding in Sex and the City’s first movie. They were also Manolo’s and cobalt blue, but they didn’t have this cute bow. I loved them both, anyway!
I have one pair of Manolos, and they are totally worth the hype. Love this blue colour.
“Manageabel,” “dissadvantage?”
Come on; I expect better from you.
