LK Bennett ‘Malibu’, £175
I’ve had a lot of love to spare for LK Bennett this season, and the fact that they’ve made these ‘Malibu’ sandals in a lemon-coloured upper only makes me love them more. It’s a shade that I find really versatile for summer (It’ll work with most other pastels, as well as with floral prints, neautrals and jewel colours like cobalt. So… almost everything then, basically.), but it’s not one that tends to crop up very often on shoes, so when I see it, I can’t help but stop for a closer look.
In this case, that closer look reveals a laser-cut upper in a pretty floral print, which is the perfect compliment to both colours these shoes are available in: the aforementioned lemon, plus a lovely pale pink. It also reveals and elegant, curved upper, with a zip at the heel for easy access. The heel itself is just under 4″, which should make it relatively easy to walk on, despite the lack of platform.
The dusty rose is a perfect peep-tow pump. Like it a lot – esp bc LKB often bores me.
