The lace look has been around for a couple of seasons now, but it doesn’t look like it’s going out of fashion anytime soon. These shoes are one of two different lace styles carried by Dorothy Perkins at the moment – the others have platform soles, but as we see a lot of platforms at the moment, I thought I’d break with tradition and show you the “normal” soled versions instead. Hey, remember when ALL shoes used to have soles like this? I’m so used to always wearing some kind of platform now that when I put on shoes that don’t have one, the heels feel really low, and a bit strange, although it has to be said that they certainly don’t look that way.
I think these shoes are a really nice way to work the lace trend. They’re not too over the top, they’re very pretty and feminine, and they’re simple enough that they won’t go out of fashion, even when lace has had its moment in the spotlight. They’re £35 and they’re available here.
I bought a pair of lace heels very similar to these, about two years ago. I’ve never worn them. Is that bad?

Have you tried contacting Dorothy Perkins? I don’t actually sell shoes, I’m afraid, so your best bet would be to contact them directly, although this is an old post, so I would doubt they will still have them in stock…
