Kate Spade ‘Karolina’ pumps, $328
This isn’t the first time I’ve featured Kate Spade’s ‘Karolina’ here: they’re one of those classic styles that are released with lots of different uppers and embellishments, and while the polka dot version will probably always be my favourite (Well, d’uh!), this seafoam patent pump is currently running a very close second. You could call this colour mint, aqua, pastel green, or, as Kate Spade have it “seafoam”. Whatever you want to call it, though, to me it’s always going to be known as “one of my very favourite colours ever”, so it was always destined to appeal to me. The addition of the little gold bow on the toe, however, makes these very close to perfect: I’d personally love to see a higher heel, and maybe a more pointed toe, but I wouldn’t say no to them just as they are, either!
