Topshop ‘Plazma’ premium pointed heels, $190
Well, they may not contain glitter or sequins, but I DID promise you some festive heels, and I think these fit the bill: nothing says “party” quite like a mirror surface on a shoe!
These are from Topshop’s premium collection (which explains the higher than usual price), and while I wouldn’t buy them myself, I do appreciate the overall effect, which is of a high-shine, stylised shoe which looks just desperate to hit the dance floor. These have an on-trend toecap front, and are in an interesting mix of metallics, combining silver, gold and pewter to create a shoe with a whole lot of impact. And if you don’t have a handy dancefloor to hit, I think they could be really interesting with a pair of jeans, too.

That heel is reminiscent of some of the recent Yves St Laurent styles.

I like everything about them except that idiotic platform.
