Karen Millen pumps, £250
These Karen Millen pumps are £250, which is a lot of money for a high-street brand. They don’t LOOK like they’re from a high-street brand, though, and given that they’re covered in crystal studs, from heel to toe, I’m going to guess they don’t FEEL like they do, either. In fact, when I saw the thumbnail-sized version of the top photo, you could probably have convinced me I was looking at something by Louboutin or Jimmy Choo, say, rather than Karen Millen.
Not that Karen Millen hasn’t had their fair share of awesome shoes in their own right, of course. This is one of the more expensive brands on the high street, and it’s one that I tend to associate with luxurious, high-quality clothing and accessories. Many of the shoes fall into the evening-wear category, and these ones are definitely very party-appropriate: if the gold upper didn’t do it, the crystals definitely would have!
These have a heel height of just over 4″, and they’re 100% leather, which adds to my conviction that they’ll feel every bit as good as they look. If ever there was a pair of shoes in need of a glamorous event to be worn to, these shoes are it: now you just need to decide where to wear them!
They are wonderful and I probably need them, but for what occasion who can say?
Is there a bag to match these shoes?.
