I wasn’t totally sure about these Jil Sander platforms
,but the more I look at them, the more I think I like them. I’ve been wearing a lot of navy lately (it’s a great neutral, and less harsh against my pale skin than black), and so it seems only natural to extend my new found love of the colour to footwear. These shoes come in a navy suede upper, but of course it’s the sculpted heel that makes these stand out. Without it these probably wouldn’t have merited a second glance: with it, they’re a little bit whimsical, but still very wearable.

I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I’m strangely attracted to these shoes. You’re right, if you look at them for a while, they just get better and better!
