Christian Louboutin ‘Grusanda’, £674
Of all of the strappy/barely there sandals available right now, I think these have to be my favourites: the Queen of strappy sandals, if you will.
It’s not just the delicate design that makes them worthy of that title either. There’s also the lovely, glittered leather, which makes the uppers seriously special, and, of course, the bow. We all know Christian Louboutin has a talent for creating beautiful bows on shoes, but these are especially stunning, and I love the way they peek over the edge of the shoe. They’re over-sized and attention-grabbing, but still delicate enough not to weigh down the shoe they’re attached to, and I have a feeling they’ll look even more spectacular when worn.
These have 4″ heels, and are the kind of shoes it would be worth throwing a party for, just to give you an excuse to wear them. Or is it just me who thinks that would be a totally reasonable way to justify buying shoes?

On another note, by the time you read this, I’ll (hopefully) be en route to Miami for my vacation. I’ve lined up some posts to publish while I’m gone, and I’ll be popping in when I can to check comments etc, but unfortunately there just aren’t enough hours in the day for me to keep up the usual posting schedule while I’m away, so I hope you’ll bear with me and understand why the content is a little lighter than usual. I meanwhile, will do my very best NOT to return from my trip with the usual suitcase full of new shoes: I’m not promising anything, though…
See you soon!
I have just one word for these: LOVE!
PS – have a great vacation!
