Christian Louboutin Wrap Glitter Peep-Toes, $875
I’ve included all four photos of these shoes, because they’re just so gorgeous that it’s literally impossible to catch them at a bad angle. Lucky them, huh?
From the top? Gorgeous.
From the side? Gorgeous.
From the, er, other side? Gorgeous?
From the back: also gorgeous.
Are you getting that I think these shoes are gorgeous? That’s good: I was worried I wasn’t being quite clear enough there.
In a stunning mix of silver and gold, these have a criss-cross strap, which fastens with a cute little gold button. I love that. They’re delicate and elegant, and if you’re looking for a really special pair of shoes to treat yourself to, well, it doesn’t get much better than this. If they were mine, I think I’d have to build a little pedestal for them, just so I could display them in the manner they deserve. I must speak to ShoeperMan about that.
Special shoes, however, come with a “special” price tag, and these are no exception at $875. Is it too early to start making a Christmas list, I wonder?

These are probably on my list of all-time top-5 ChL shoes. They are just the perfect dress shoe: sparkly, but not blinged-out; silver but with specks of other-colored glitter to play off any outfit and a light gold heel to boot; strappy, peep-toe and a pump at once, to work with either a small cocktail dress or a full-on heavy gown; tall but with straps that would hold the foot in place (I have been living in flats lately so heels are becoming more of a pain to wear for a stretch long time). Def a Practical Dream(TM) shoe.
Sweet baby cheeses they are amazing.
