Christian Louboutin Iriza, £439.55
This is Iriza, and it’s another great example of Christian Louboutins skill at re-inventing the wheel: or, in this case, the pointed-toe pump.
Ever since pointed toes started to become fashionable again, I’ve talked a lot about the “new” pointed toes, and how they differ from the “old” ones: mostly in terms of the shorter toe, and lower-cut vamp. These shoes, however, look to me like they could’ve stepped right out of an episode of Sex and the City: everything from the d’orsay cut upper to the elongated toe reminds me of the footwear of the late 90s/early 00s… just that little bit better. Or, OK, maybe a LOT better: I loved these shoes on sight, and I normally don’t like toes to be quite this long. These shoes, however, have a real elegance about them, and the low sides are classic Louboutin, which always works for me.
These also come in leopard print, and are available to pre-order at Neiman Marcus, with an expected ship date of early August. Get them here.

On another note, Monday is yet another public holiday here in the UK, and I have a ton of stuff to take care of away from the blog ahead of my upcoming vacation in a few weeks time, so I’ll be taking the day off, and will be back on Tuesday, with more shoes for you to admire (or not, as the case may be!). I hope you all have a lovely weekend, whatever you’re doing!
Simple and beautiful.
They are gorgeous!
