Dorothy Perkins glitter bow court shoes, £29
These shoes are available in black, red and silver, and at just £29 per pair, I think they just might be one of the best budget party shoes on the high street this Christmas.
I mean, just look at them! The glittery upper is party-perfect, and although it’s always done to death at this time of year, it doesn’t really matter, because it’s just so darn fabulous. The little black bow, meanwhile, is the ideal adornment for this type of shoe: it contrasts nicely with the silver upper, and adds just the right amount of sweetness to the style. Oh, and although that heel looks high (and IS high, by most standards), at 3.5″, its’ actually a little lower than most party shoes tend to be, so these should be reasonably comfortable, too: that’s not always a given with evening shoes, which tend to take a “style at any cost” approach to shoe design, so when you find shoes you can comfortably dance all night in, my advice is to grab them while you can. Possibly in all three colours.
Speaking of the three available colours, I like all of them, but this silver version wins the Shoe of Day spot, purely because of the contrast created between upper and bow, which makes the shoe a little more memorable than the all-black version, or even the dark red. Here’s one way to wear them:
bustier // skirt // bag // neck bow
This is a very glamorous evening look: I loved the Warehouse bustier as soon as I saw it, but I think my favourite item here has to be the River Island neck bow: it’s just £8, but such an effective – and unusual – way to add interest to a look. This would also look good with more daytime-appropriate looks too, so I’m very tempted!
Yeah, I’d totally go for the silver version as well.
Where in the world can i find these shoes im madly in love
