My, but Dolce & Gabbana have created some weird and not-always-wonderful shoes this year, haven’t they?
These ones are covered in a tapestry print, and have a little velvet bow on the front. They look to me like they wouldn’t be totally out of place on the feet of someone like Marie Antoinette – if, of course, massive platforms had been all the rage at the time. Interesting as they are, they’re not going to be gracing the feet of Shoeperwoman anytime soon, but if you love them, they’re 650 euros and you can buy them here.
Aside from the giant platform I actually don’t hate them. I also think these ought to be worn with the opera dress featured on Fashion Police…
That was my first thought too. 😉
I think I might love them.
I like them MUCH better as flats: http://store.dolcegabbana.com/item/store/DG/tskay/CA5A153D/rr/1/cod10/44196493TW/areaid//sts/
Yes, they seem great as flat!!
These definitely fall into the not-wonderful category.

They look like something that would sit on your dresser and store jewellery.

I love love love them!
They remind me Marie Antoinette for some reason. Love the colour and fabric, but like others, not the platform.
Without the plataform and with a bow the same color they could have worked.
i’m in love with those shoes.
Seriously in LOVE. I’d die for ’em :DD! haha not really x]
But I want ’em soooo incredibly bad.
