Nothing says summer quite like a fresh white dress and an equally fresh-looking pair of blue and white stripe shoes. Well, the shoes are pictured above, and very nice they are too, with their textile upper, pointed toe and slingback heel. They are, in fact, the kind of shoes that we’re seeing absolutely everywhere right now, and they’re the perfect mix of classic and contemporary, with a bit of fun thrown in.

As for the white dress, well, Matches Fashion (where I found these) have helpfully provided us with a picture of one of those, too:

Now, I have a bit of a thing for white lace dresses at the moment, but if you’d rather go with something a little less formal, these shoes would look great with white jeans and t-shirt for a more casual, but still very striking look, or you could also go with any one of the other traditionally “nautical” shades. Or, of course, there’s nothing stopping you putting a completely different spin on your stripes, and trying something slightly less obvious. What would you wear with these?
