Christian Louboutin No Prive, £578.91
I have a soft spot for Christian Louboutin’s ‘No Prive’ slingback. This was the style of the first ever pair of Louboutins I ever bought: my purple suede pair are a few years old now, but I’ve never got tired of them, and they’re a style that just doesn’t date, as far as I’m concerned, so although I know I’ve featured them a few times now, I’m always interested in the newest selection of colours they’re released in.
This version has a silver micro-glitter upper, which I really like: although I do love glitter shoes (in moderation), it can be very easy for them to look over-the-top, but the very small glitter particles helps prevent that here, and makes them look glamorous, without being tacky. My own preference would be for the heel and platform to be red, to match the sole, but the pink is also very cute, and maybe a little less obvious, if that’s something that bothers you.
These have a 5″ heel with a 1″ covered platform, which makes the walking height around 4″, and they’re priced at £578.
I quite like the pink, it’s something a bit different. What gorgeous shoes they are.
