OK, I’m just going to say it, so we can get it out in the open and then move on: these are a strange mix of “stripper” and “clown”, aren’t they? Between the mesh upper and that oversize pom pom, I just didn’t know what to make of them when I spotted them at Net-a-Porter yesterday morning. I knew who would know what to make of them, though. YOU. Yes, YOU. You know whether you love these shoes or hate them, don’t you? YOU know whether the pretty, pale pink offsets the clownish pom-pom or see through vamp. YOU know whether you’d pay £745 for them. Come on, then: do share…

If they weren’t see through, I would love them. This way… No thank you!
I like the pom-pom because it reminds me of dandelion fluff. The rest of it can go to hell.
Is it strange that I thought of girly lunch dates and sugar’n’spice rather than strippers & clowns when I first laid eyes on these? I really like them, & I think them being in that colour makes them a very feminine & delicate pair of shoes. But that’s just me!
They look a lot better on, but still not enough to tempt me in the slightest.
They totally scream ‘stripper’ to me (though not ‘clown’ – I dig pom-poms and in Russia all of children’s hats had them) and I am kind of ashamed of wanting them regardless! They look way more normal and appropriate on a foot.
