I’m just going to be honest with you: these shoes are here purely because of the colour. The shape is nothing particularly special (It’s not UN-special, you understand, it’s just that there’s nothing much to set it apart from any other, perfectly nice, pump), but the colour makes it SEEM special, which is half the battle, really.
Is it worth spending £697 on a pair of shoes, just because you like the colour? Well, probably not, to be honest: or not for the vast majority of us, anyway. If you REALLY love purple, though – or maybe if you just really love classic pumps – and you think this shade justifies the price, you’ll find them at Neiman Marcus.
